Salvatore Ferragamo’s story is more than that of a poor, illiterate boy who grew up as an Italian shoe designer and became known as the “shoemaker to the stars”. When Salvatore set up shop in Florence, that was FERRAGAMO’S first Renaissance. And there, in “The Jewel of the Renaissance”, began a story of constant rebirth and evolution. The FERRAGAMO company is still family-owned, and in expanding its empire to include bags, eyewear, accessories, watches, ready-to-wear clothing and perfumes, it continues FERRAGAMO’S new Renaissance.
